Where Color Waits,
a memory of flowers
Where Color Waits is the third and probably the last of the Blue Hour Bouquet series.
This piece has the dark blue background of the series, but I experimented with changing brands of paint and used two colors of blue. The chrome stripe is the same foundation as Blue Hour Bouquet and the Color in Fog.
The fog effect emerges stronger and the platform for the vase takes shape.
This painting has a chrome vase instead of copper used in the other two.
Where Color Waits is intentionally brighter. It's a new day.
